Gears Halloweekend Event has ended

Gears Halloweekend Event!
Friday Oct. 28th at 9:00 AM EST - Tuesday Nov. 1st at 9:00 AM EST

The Weekend Event:
A special “BoooooomSnipes” playlist for TDM. In this playlist, the default weapon loadout will be changed to, you guessed it, Boomshot and Snipers. Weapon drops in the maps will be a mix of the two. NOTE: You may need to restart your console to see the changes.

Halloween Day Event:
Finally, Monday is Halloween, and to end our event, we have a cosmetic surprise in store for you, so keep a level head! Don’t forget to grab some Halloween candy and settle in for the surprise, starting Monday October 31st at 9:00 AM EST.

The four day event runs through Tuesday, November 1st at 9:00 AM EST, ending just in time for the release of the Gears of War 3 Horde Command Pack.

When you go Trick or Treating you don't know exactly what goodies you got till you get home right?? In other words, IT'S A SURPRISE!!

It's considered a 4 day event so i THINK it will count as 1. Don't quote me though, i'm just guessing

lame, not looking forward to that playlist and the Halloween surprise is probably pumpkin heads which is cool but for only 1 day? I really wanted orange liquid skins and a way to permanently unlock them and more then this, I was looking forward to this event, pretty let down.

This guy stole photoshopped pics from another forum member and tried to pass them off as an unlockable in game for the event. Don't trust anyone that isn't a part of Epic staff or doesn't have any credibility.

This event sounds pretty fun.

Actually they do have to do at least 30 events otherwise they break mirosofts rule that all achievements must be achievable. Although they don't have to go through all the trouble that they have to make the events fun. Not to mention taking community feedback to make sure the events are something we want. Thank you epic and thank you Cher for compiling our suggestions.

Also dont think anyone will be too suprised when we see pumpkin heads, Skeletons etc or a mix on Monday
