Imported Image Emitter Lighting-Help
Using the standard crosses/Point I get colour to my emitted particles in my map. Trying to use an imported image as snow. The Colour will show on the unlit view but not in the lit view or playing inside the viewport after building the lighting(so the images(snow) just shows as black when being emitted)???
Are you emitting particle meshes or texture planes?
The most obvious 2 things I can think of is that your problem might be:
A)Your particle material is not plugged into the emissive channel.
B)Your particle material is not multiplied with a vertex color node before plugging it in into the emissive.
This brings me to another question: If I┤d ever see the need to create ... let┤s say rain particle effect #123, and I want it to cast real time shadows, how would I accomplish that? (Yeah, probably unefficient to even think about it if I could just use an animated light function or decal since nobody would really notice...but lets just pretend.)
That obvious! Emmisive has it working. I used a texture with just diffuse, no bump, panning, etc yet. Shadows too soon for me! Now I'm having a an issue with the in game test for loop. I enter level..it snows once and stops lol (it is set on loop in cascade). Probably an error on my part. Should be able to correct it no problem I hope. Off to check my settings now...
Everything good so far thx. The loop problem was just a bad constant setting. Steady falling snow now!..
