Starter Platform Game help

Hey there folks; just started working with the Starter Platform Game kit after having put it down for a few months. I followed the directions on UDN to install the kit but when I attempt to play it (either through PIE or UDK Game), the SPG runs in first person mode. I remember solving this before, but I cannot for the life of me remember what I did to correct the issue.

Anyone got any ideas?

Did you use the map included?

If you didn't use the map included, did you remember to set the GameType?

I used the included map. No dice.

Which file do I need to edit in order to set the game type?

If you're using the included map, then it should use the proper game type. Did Unreal Editor mention anything about missing packages when you opened the map?
