Personally I think it would be pretty cool because they did it with halo and i thought it was really good.

I'd buy it. I thought Halo Wars was a great game.

Yeah, I really enjoyed Halo Wars, but I hate Halo. I can just imagine how much I'd love an RTS based on a franchise I actually love. I'd love to see it happen.

EDIT: Oh, and If I could pick ANY dev to make it (even if another publisher owns them) I'd pick Relic. Their work on the Dawn of war series could really transfer over to a Gears of War RTS. But this really is nothing but a hopeless dream, sadly.
