Why is hardly anybody playing this game?

Tonight this is what i came against

hardly anybody playing in my region and it took ages to find a match these are the only game types i play, My game session always ends up in me going to play casual TDM thats where i get a game the fastest. It is only going to get worse when battlefield 3 and mw3 come out what are you going to do epic to try lure people back and keep them from going to the other games? Maybe some free stuff?

The numbers lie, trust me, apparently in my region there were 20 thousand playing Hardcore weekend, and 21 thousand playing worldwide. So that means 20 thousand in mainland europe, and a whole whopping 1 thousand everywhere else. lol.

I think your problem is the time zones. I live in America and sometimes I get on at 5 a.m. because I have limited time to play. and those numbers seem similar at about that time. I have yet to see the numbers get that low during the day though. I know that around 5 a.m. in America, would be like 3 p.m. in the UK.

U.S here, at peak hours I saw around 60,000 for team deathmatch.

Lotta friends on my list are doing private matches to boost medals to unlock skins for weapons and characters. The medals take too long otherwise so maybe thats why the matches seem a bit emptp

What with my sleep cycle having me up all night and asleep all day the norm for me is less than 5 people in my region per gametype. I'll be lucky to even play ranked from 1-9am. I mean tonight it told me at least 2 gametypes had 0 people playing ranked.

i live in england and it's been like this since before the hardcore weekend. it was last night i was getting these numbers, got into the hardcore gnasher only warzone playlist ok but i don't fancy playing with the gnasher for 3 hours.

Yeah, that's just some network glitch that's messing with you. There are easily over 100k total playing this game at one time, especially during the weekend.
