rankins in gears

I was jus wonderin how the rankin system if they were gonna have one was gonna work. Im new to the site so i havent had time to search through all the topics. But i jus wanted to know if they had a rankin system or not. If so wut would it be like.

No one knows yet. If something is told, I'm sure the people on these forums will know right away and have it posted.

I think with that sort of thign we won't know until the release or a couple weeks before.

i think some ppl here are gettin leaderboard and ranks confused, they are pretty similar but ranks are different from leaderboards. leaderboards may show most kills and things like that, but rank shows what skill you are and sometime, theres leaderboards based upon ur rank

But there isn't a mod chip out for the 360 and no MOD chips are releasing this winter... so how are we gonna have cheaters?

I think for this announcement we are going to get a release date and a huge showing of multiplayer content or at least I hope the one they haven't really talked much about is Multiplayer.

I would like to se my kills, deaths, and accuracy also. I do not care for leaderboards. It generates to much hype and causes people to cheat way to much.

Hopefully they have something in place that stops deleveling if they are going to hold a rank based system. CoD2 did a great job of preventing friendly kills. Activate refelctive damage and it only hurts their score and not the teams.

Other things that I would like to see in a game if it is going to contain ranking is a way to prevent boosting and a way to report glitchers were you can see the progress of your report.

Bungie states that it is unethical to let people know what they have done, but I think that we should know if the person has been banned, booted, or what not. That way we know that something is happening. I dont know. I just hate cheaters.

But, I agree, it should have something similar to CoD2's team-killing system, that would be nice.
