Epic please stop catering to everyone's needs.
You have to do what you want in this game. This is your creation.
The multiplayer is amazing. So is Beast, Horde, and Campaign.
You can not please the whole community. Do not severely change the experience!
Some people can not get a clue on how to use a cover-based game.
I believe the SOS is a good weapon to stop rushers.
I do not use it because i have been using gnasher since gears 1, but it is a challenge.
I feel proud killing the scrub camping around the corner.

P.s do solve the lag and server problems please

Sure, they can do whatever they want, it is their creation but it would be a huge failure without people buying it. The customer is always right. In these times, $60 is a hefty price for a piece of plastic. They should consider that before they 'do whatever they want.'

Funny how treyarch and infinty ward rarely listen to their fans and got a good franchise going on. All im saying is that epic is doing poorly trying to please everyone when it is impossible.

Are you out of your mind, obviously you have never been on the Black ops forum, they changed about 25 things in that game due to user feedback and the mods respond to threads on the reg about what people are saying, I don't think that a company has ever supported a game better then treyarch.

perhaps, not trying to attack you or anything but compared to treyarch Epic is hardly involved, Lee Perry has like 400 posts in 4 years, one of the main guys who works on the game for Treyarch has like 3000

Yes but, cod is easy to play so 14 million idiots will always buy those games regardless if they're broken or not. Gears was a much more hardcore n skill based game so the community it had was good but epic mesded it up for both the hardcore n casuals

P.s. people buy madden and Cod every year because they don't make drastic changes like EPIC has to Gears. Would cod be popular if suddenly everyone spawned with helicopters that shot nukes or grenade launchers that had heat seeking capabilities for an almost guaranteed kill but just reloaded slowly... Doubt it. Gears is no different. If you make drastic changes that change the fundamental game play then you need to make tweeks accordingly.

@beers what im saying is the majority of cod players are casuals who buy it blindly every year even tho the game gets less innovation n more bugs n balance issues every year. I too would play cod, their community is so big that their hardcore fans don't matter cuz casuals definitely outnumber them but in Gears it isn't like that so they ruined it for nothing

In this case the customer can't always be right. I have seen the following OP threads: SoS, Gnasher, Lancer, Retro, Snub Pistol, Boomshot, and even smoke grenades. If everything is OP'ed, isn't nothing OP'ed? The game should just be left as it is. Every game will have flaws. You need to learn the best way to play the game and use the weapons, maps, etc. For instance, I like the SoS. I find it to be a fun gun to use but not every map lends itself to that gun so depending on the map, I switch my loadout. If people would try different things rather than just complaining, maybe they would enjoy themselves more.

Funny how wrong you are. Treyarch and infinite wards listen to there fans more than anything. They patched a lot of black ops stuff just because the fans *****ed about it and also made a playlist without ghost or last stance because the community didn't like it. Mw2 they did the same about nerfing a lot of the weapons. Mw3 is everything the fans wanted and he said it in an interview. They said that we made it for the fans and took out perks from mw2 because most of the community didn't like it.

Yes, it's their creation. But they'd be unwise to not listen to their customer's needs. That's why Epic is successful. Because they LISTEN to their community. And that's why they nerfed the SOS, because the majority of the community hates the SOS.

somebody nerf this guys posts theyre OverPowered comparing the sawed-off to a nuke firing helicopter or a heat seeking grenade launcher (somebody needs to make one of those) is a pretty big stretch dont you think

That's a terrible analogy. The sawed-off is nowhere near as bad as what you described. I hate the sawed-off, but people have blown it way out of proportion.

Agreed. In every way.
I think that is why EPIC F*** up. For trying to fit in a wider community of gamers. They actually did, but these new players already stoped playing the game. And many of the old ones too. All because they got annoyed having to play like a noob otherwise you wouldn't get kill. Retro and saw-off are noob only weapons. Gears was since E-Day (Gears1 launch) one of the most competitive game but definitely the hardest to learn how to play game in online gaming. But now is not either any more, due to all changes they have made to it. Don't get me wrong I still love and play the game but it seems that not many people is staying as loyal as I am.

Dude he didn't call you an idiot at all, however you are making yourself look like one....

I see what the first quote is sayin. CoD is an ezer game anyone can just pick it up and be "good" at it. Other games like gears and halo are a different story. Yes, you can play a game and do really well every once and a while but to do well 9 out 10 times it takes practice. He's just saying that he thinks that gears takes more skill and should stay that way. I agree with him, there is no need to change the game so much that it turns into Gaylo : Reach. "Pre TU Beta Reach" Bungie tried to make reach more user friendly and it back fired. Now 343 is fixing the game and making it more like halo. If Epic listens to everyone complaining about the rifles and everything else. Then we will just get a Gays of War 3. Then we will have to sit around and rub our thumbs together untill we get a TU just like Reach is doing now.
