Background on main characters

sorry, guys whenever i see those faces i got to laugh. i mean i love gears of war but those characters are sooo poor.
they look all like porn actors. they are so over exclamated, they wear a 200kilo suit.
i have that image in my head, where marcus says: "Peter North and I are making pr0n together!".
I mean their chins are twice as big as every normal persons chin.

ahh, sorry, i love gears, unreal engine 3 and epic... the characters are the only thing i dislike.

Apparently you didnt know this was made by EPIC (unreal tournament series) Having a character over-exaggerated adds to the overal badassness of the game. And also, a real person wouldnt survive what these guys do...

Also, this is a videogame. Reality isnt always best. And have you seen the movie predator? The characters arent over-exaggerated after you watch that movie. Oh, and look at Jay leno for the chin thing.

I am at opposite sides of the table from you, i think the characters are the coolest ive ever seen in a game.

I don't agree, i think thats its good that they finnaly put some diversity into these games. its about time that we had a little more variety in the gamer world i think that the differnt character races will help the game. I know that the gamer comunity is mostly young white males, but there are alot of black, hispanic, aisan, and women that play video games also, and they want to be represented in this ever growing community.

I completely agree..... but one thing i would bet money on is that Gus dies first in the story line. And for whoever posted the cole train thing before, i think that it's a reference to the terry tate commercials, with the pain train. After all, the voice actor was terry tate in those commercials and what do you expect it to sound like, some average voice? What's the point in getting voice actors then. "Yeah we're hiring and we're looking for a guy with a normal voice." Sorry if it seems like i'm flameing, but this is a video game, not real life.
