Undeserved Quit Match Penalties

Earlier this week, I got a quit match penalty even though I have never quit a ranked match. I thought it was just a quirky thing so I didn't care. But today after only playing a few social matches this morning and quitting in between the games I turn on my system to find that I have another penalty. How is it possible for me to get an xp penalty when I didn't even play a ranked match?

You get them from playing Horde and Beast, its a known bug. Not heard of anyone getting them from playing quick matches though.

The only penalties I have are from Horde and Beast, not because I quit early, just quit at the wrong time after the match. I have played lots of private and online quick matches and none of those gave me a penalty. As kurtfhouse stated it is a known bug.
