You can't just shove a character into your story because you need a canon character. What kind of story are you doing? What kind of character would fit best for the part?

Adding a canon character in only because the readers will know them isn't the right way to go.

Who'da thought that I could get so much writing done on Honeymoon. So the good news is that very soon, expect a couple of new chapters for Nowhere to Run. I just need to link a couple of things and the chapter will be ready to be posted!! yey!! It has taken me a while to readdress my writing style. Trying to stop lengthening sentences with a comma has been my fatal flaw and trying to overcome it has been a challenge. But I think I'm improving. I am very grateful to Cros for his criticism.

Anyway, that said, I'm back and raring to go.

I think it's "revenge". I have an idea about a shadowy stranger known only as "Crow". And no, it has nothing to do with "The Crow" by James O'Barr.

I know, it seems very suspicious to have a main protagonist called "Crow" in a story about revenge.

But hey, he used to be called "Shaman" at one point. Until I decided it sounded kinda crappy. Maybe I'll change it again. Sometimes I use placeholder names until I can come up with something better. Nine times outta ten though... I never do, and the name sticks.

Hate to disappoint but actually... Sympathy had rain too.

Speaking of Lt. Natalia Blain, I was thinking of doing a "Day in the Life" short about her. It would give some insight into how she has unlikely friends and what she was like years before Sympathy. We'll see what happens after REVENGE. Fact is I lost almost two full chapters and all drafts and notes on Sympathy when my hard drive was erased. Which sucks.
