Chrome Retro Lancer - GOW1 Domination Achievement - Won't unlock

I just recently noticed that the Chrome Retro Lancer skin was tied to the Domination achivement from GOW1. I have all the GOW1 achievements completed years ago, but this skin still shows "0/1" for me. All the other unlocks related to GOW1 and GOW2 are fine. Anyone else having this problem?

A timestamp is needed for the unlock. If you got domination offline you will not receive the skin.

Yeah, a bummer really.. I got it years ago, before I even had LIVE

But oh well, that's one skin out of the 5 I get to choose from unless I pay

i just unlocked my Retro Lancer one! though i hardly use that gun. but oh well.

Yeah I totally agree that it should rot need a time stamp. So many people are being punished for not having LIVE so long ago.

That sucks. That explains my friend's situation. I find it weird that you don't need a time stamp for VG, but a timestamp for a simple achievement as this?

and yet another epic games failure im so glad i cancelled my preorder for this and saved myself that 150 i was going to spend on the epic edition or whatever... decided to rent this one first and ya nothing but problems... this chrome retro lance being one of them.... the other being my flaming lancer skin that i should have gotten from week 2 of the beta but didnt... glad i didnt waste money on this nothing but problems just like 2... which sucks cuz aside from the glitches that happen every 3 seconds on average this would have been an amazing game...

I know epic have not been perfect, but really, a bit OTT do you not think, the game is amazing, the online sorted in my experience if the main problems are just a few skin unlocks is that really a showstopper?.

my only problem with this game is the insanity of the seriously 3 achievement which means i wont get the enjoyment of trying to 100% this game, but again, it does not really affect the quality of the game itself.

This is not correct, i just unlocked DOMINATION online playing coop on xbox live, and had no luck unlocking my chrome retro. Restarted xbox, done everything, logged in and out of in game profile, still no chrome retro.
