This isn't the first time that Epic has ****ed me over. But it will certainly be the last and they are not "working" on anything dip****. Who have you heard from? I have sent three e-mails to Microsoft. Nothing. E-mail Epic. Nothing. Call Microsoft. Nothing. 1 forum mod is working on the problem? Well woopty ****ing doo. Don't trade it in. Take it back to the retailer and tell them you've been sold a defective product and would like a full refund. I think you can do this within 6 months of the purchase.

I was not playing split screen
I was about to join a friends co-op campaign (don't know what level or act)
For Multiplayer it loads to just before the map ...then freezes
For campaign...just freezes after making the selection
I did finish the solo campaign, and also...earlier that day I deleted the beta download & its update (didn't think I need it)
Also...there was one time it worked after the fact, but when I was making weapon selections with the D-pad got some code across my screen 1234567890..over & over. I returned the game to Game Stop for a fresh copy...now all it does is freeze. It really bites!! I loved the Beta..and the game was fine up until this.
Oh yeah...my profile is on a flash drive (doesn't affect any other game)
Thank God Rage comes out this week! I'd be snappin at the fences if i was stuck with nothing!

Yesterday on wave 37 on overpass things started acting up. We were in a party, I was hosting, playing split screen and both signed in. 1 player suddenly had to wait another wave ( he died) after the one was finished.
I thought weird, could it be like that once you pass wave 30?
Then everyone who died from then on had to wait 1 wave, some even 2!
Soon after that 1 splitscreen turned black (you were still able to press back for scores). Then it was fixed after the wave but switched black for the other player....

I'd be happy to catch up with anybody as well. And please, nobody tell the pissed off guy to stop expressing his emotions. If I could say one thing to the head of EPIC or Microsoft Games Studio, I'd tell them to fix the effing problem. Imagine that you've just gone out and bought a hundred phone, and then realised it doesn't work, and the company who makes the phone won't fix the problem. It's more or less the same principle.

No need to insult me. Once and again...it's only a game and $70. Not the end of the world. I talked to a guy at Microsoft for over and hour last week and he would have ekpt trying had I not had to go to work even though it was a fruitless endevour. I call that service. Not to mention how genuinely sorry he was when he couldn't kelp after all that time. If I were Epic I wouldn't want customers like you anyways.

- On Helping Hand : Right where you get in the stranded camp, you follow the leader && it won`t let me go further, I stand on the star && she won`t open the gate

Are there any other peculiarities you noticed that may be helpful? When I started playing system link, my and my girlfriend's level were reset. We played campaign , then quitted and tried to play beast. The game freezed. We then started without system link, connected to xbox live. now her level and stats are still reset. my level is normal now, but i have the freeze issue.
The game freezes everytime I try to play an online or system link match in any mode, but I can still play offline in split screen.

Look at your achievement list. What icon do you see next to Gears of War 3? The crimson omen logo, as it's supposed to.

What game mode were you playing?
If Campaign:
What Act and Chapter? Act 5, chapter 2.
Where exactly were you in the chapter? We has just turned off the maelstrom, trading Sam and Jace for Cole and Baird.
What Act and Chapter did you start at leading up to the freeze? (Example: Act 1 Chapter 1 to Act 5 Chapter 2) We played from 4-5 to 5-2, though we had played more earlier in the day. Second user on split screen was having voice issues over Live, so we decided to reboot and form a dashboard party before getting back into the game. Bhodi Dax only is now unable to log in, while the JadziaCee account is playing as I type this, without issue.

I have tried all steps that seemed relevant. Unable to login with game installed on HDD or not. Cleared the HDD cache and tried playing with my account in offline mode (i.e. said "no" to the update when prompted) which also does not work.

It would be extremely disappointing to be required to reset my Live profile's progress as was the case with this same issue in Gears 2. Epic, please update us all on this thread as soon as possible.

(Edit: BTW, I purchased the DLC Season Pass within days of its release, and have been playing this game like mad. Please, please, please help us with a fix).

yeah, same here. I want them to hurry up and finish this ****, already. even though, I've lost my wireless adaptor, anyway-.- going to be at least another week before I can play it anyway, especially since rage comes out in 2 days, so that'll be what I play until I know it's fixed. I've pretty much gone to the point of saying "**** it. I'm not holding my breath, as it's been almost 2 weeks now."

Not only have I not been able to play for a week, but as of today my rank, medals, ribbons, skins, and characters have been reset, yet I still have everything saved from my campaign, collectibles, chapters, etc. Not only that, but the red omen in my achievement list has turned into Marcus Fenix.

Any word on how the progress is going?

So xbox sent me a bull**** email stating they are working on the issue...same thing I have been hearing for over a week now. I have also been blowing up Cliffy B's twitter and posting anywhere I can to complain. If nothing else I am going to make everyone at Epic hate me haha. This is now the second weekend I have had to "patiently" wait through until everyone gets back to work on Monday!

I think it will, I used to be a CCR and learned a few tricks. Once it gets enough likes I will start pestering them. Their real problem is PR... The CEO really should have stepped out and at least lied to us like every other company so we are assured something is being done.... A simple "We are aware, and are working on the issue, please bare with us while we attempt to resolve the issue, we expect 3-10 days" would have sufficed.
