For the first few hours, i am looking forward to being humans because i will be playing the SP at the same time and it will make me feel more familiar with the character. After i beat the SP or at least play through a few levels, i will probably play as the locust for a few hours.

no diffrence, they are exactly the same in size and movement, they only look different

so far No, b/c the boomer is larger and taller than the other locusts and it would be unfair if u were a huge target lol, so far the locusts that u can be are the following

Trokia Gumpar
Theron guard
Theron Sentinel
Drone

remember for MP to be fair all the player models have to be the same in everyway but the looks

no, both teams will start with the SAME weapons, both COG and locusts can use each others weapons, ala Halo.......

o ok, but i think it would make more since if the locust started out with an equal locust weapon to the lancer(via:torquebow if it is a locust weapon) so then if u were a COG u would be wanting to get a locust weapon more vice versa..

first of all the torque bow is a locusts weapon but so far the closest equivilent to the lancer is the locusts hammerburst, and in MP they both need to start off with the same exact weapons b/c it wouldnt be completely fair, if the locusts had the hammerburst instead of the lancer like the COG they couldnt chainsaw someone, so it would be unfair, so in GoW MP all the players start with the same weapons.....

yeah but the idea was to make the COGs and locusts have the equivilent weapons, like if the Locusts get the boomshot they COGs might get a rocket launcher, but they wouldnt be exactly the same, just like how the lancer is way better than the hammerbusrt b/c of the chainsaw, thats why all players need to start with the exact same weapons or it will be unfair in some way, and it would be dumb it they just added a chainsaw onto the hammerburst just to make it the "same" as the lancer, then they would have to do that with all the weapons and we would just have like 10 weapons and 10 more almost exactly the same just a lil different in looks

in GoW they said that both the COG and Locusts will get the same number of weapons, each having a COG/locust equivilent, like if the locusts get a assult rifle so do the COGs, or if the COGs get a sniper then the locusts will get something similar but not exactly the same

i have explained this to ppl 100s of times, so i know what im talking about and i know why ur confused, its ok, i am happy to help, any more questions?

ok, cool, yeah it is going to look cool, actually i have seen it, watch the beginning of the race to e3, and u see it, it looked kinda weird b/c it was just a test, but the final one will look sweet!

As mentioned before ina different thread, people speaking about having juggernaut style gameplay.

Well you can probably be different races of the locust, like a beserker, in such modes, one guy is beserker, maybe locusts protecting it and cogs trying to kill it..

could be like Counter-Strike VIP or Halo Juggernaut.

yeah maybe they will have a jugg game like that, there are about 100 thread on it so maybe EPIC got the hint lol, then maybe u can be the larger locusts or some cool super-COG

Since Im going to be playing as CoGs for SP I think Ill be Locusts for MP cause... Ill be Cog for Sp... And Locusts are cool! I wana be that 1 in the red armor! And Cliffy said they make some sorta menacing growl when they reload their gun just right or somethin...

No, u can't be a boomer or Hunter, those screens do NOT show a boomer or hunter

That's what I'm saying. By the time I beat SP I'll still be pumped up , but I will have killed so many Locusts, that killing humans will be a nice change.

I can't really choose. The COG look awesome with thier bulky grey armor, and their badass factor of +5. The Locust look really evil and Intimidating. I can't really choose.

I guess I'll go with Locust, but COG in a short 2nd.

after SP I'll be a veteran at killing Locust. And I'll ho to MP and be like "What the hell! You have a choice now!" But I'll probably be so used to Marcus I'll be a human.

people, people that was just one mode we saw at E3 and we don't even know if that was a the final product for live. It was made to show case what the gameplay would look like durring live play and they acomplished that, but any way I think that there are going to be many modes and we are going to be able to create our own charater locust or human to take you pic then. Customisation is like a satple on Next-Gen consoles.
