Default Standard or Aracade... Am I missing anything in Arcade?

I started my first run-through in the campaign with the Arcade mode. It seems to be following the story like I would assume the Standard run-through would. I'm a little worried though that I might be missing something.

Is there any difference between the two other than the scoring?

I'm not finished with the campaign yet, so no spoilers please!

    I don't think so.

One major difference, aside from the scoring, is that in co-op, you can respawn after getting killed in Arcade whereas in Cinematic it counts as a fail and you go back to the last checkpoint. This is a HUGE advantage especially in some of the harder fights (you will know them when you see them).

At least this is the case on Insane, I haven't played any other difficulty since my first run through of the game on Solo Hardcore.

One thing that does make arcade slightly more annoying though, is that you don't carry your weapons through chapter boundaries: you get reset to the character default. Now that's fine on lower difficulties or if you're just running and gunning, but if you've built up some special weapons, don't expect them to stick around.

Gotcha. I did notice that with the weapons.... there were some points where it really sucked!

to me, I played through Cinematic Insane and most parts through Arcade Insane only solo.

Like mentioned is the carry over of your weapons.

and on arcade if you are not online through out then it won't register your score in the leader boards.

Does anyone know if the COG Tags and collectibles are still there in Arcade? I hope to finish finding them while working some arcade medals.

Yes, they are still there. In fact, if anyone in your party picks them up, you get credit for it as well.

it is. but if you already have them and you're with a friend you might need to direct him to where they are (if you remember) because you won't be able to see them.
