So what is our biggest lead at this point, anvil? I'd go hunt again if I knew where to start, we need a clue!

All we know that there is an Easter Egg on Anvil. We don't know anything else, besides the explosive shells.

I know what causes the "EPIC MUSIC", 100%. If you do the Lambent chicken easter egg beforehand and leave after you just about killed the chicken, this BGM continues to play, in any game mode, even Multiplayer. It will stop only when you to turn the game off.

Seems like some kind of glitch.

I just did the Anvil egg (Attempt, rather) on Beast. Sadly, I'm alone in doing this, so it took a while to be able to do a speed run of destroying all 10 in one minute. But, after I did, literally nothing happened. No sound effect, nothing on the TV.. Nothing. If I had a bigger crew, then we could destroy all ten with at least 20 seconds left instead of 8-10 like I had. Allows for a bit more exploration. Unlike the chickens on Cove which DO NOT respawn, hence why you leave one, fail the wave, and go kill it, the anvils DO RESPAWN after each wave. I don't know if that points to anything, like doing it over again. All I know is I destroyed all 10 in about 50 seconds, and nothing happened. Sad face, I was pretty stoked about trying it. Capped it, hoping for YouTube fame, but nope. Not my lucky day.

In regards to the "LAIFAIL" license plates, any chance that it is merely a palindrome for "Fail"? Just a thought, and that was what I saw immediately when I looked at the word/phrase.

I've been working on the anvil Easter egg trying different combinations of shooting the shells. As if maybe they were in order. Then I thought how many combinations could there be? I did the math:

12 shells.

12*11*10*9*8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1= 479,001,600

Sorry if this has been said, but if it hasn't then you should know to give up the "shoot in order" idea. So I'm thinking another shell or maybe using the HoD on the helicopters. There must be something else!

Again, I'm just saying, I did it on Beast as I stated above. Figured I'd do it after everyone suggested it, but it did nothing. SO, I dunno. I just don't know.

So, I *might* have discovered some kind of possible Easter Egg in RAAM's Shadow. When you're defending the orphanage, you'll notice there's a Thrashball court with 3 thrashballs on it - also the same amount of grub holes that appear. Now, I had someone try shooting one Thrashball into each of the grub holes to no avail (though I do want to test it myself to make sure nothing was missed). I know it's a bit of a stretch, but I haven't seen a single EE for RAAM's Shadow. I don't even know if it relates to the grub holes -- I just think that the court is special due to its 3 Thrashballs... you would think one would only need one. Looking into this more myself, I'd like to see if someone else can come up with any conclusions.

somebody has tried kill all chickens from Old Town or destroy all missiles from Anvil in beast mode? I have these ideas since Cove EE

Conde, please read through the posts some before commenting, my man. I did the missiles on Anvil in Beast Mode. Nothing happened. It's a major dead end so far.

Edit: Victimizer, if I'm not mistaken, the Carmine helmet is part of the Water Elemental Cleaver egg on Aftermath. It's on YouTube, so you could probably link it from there. It's from the correct way to do the egg; not the short, shooting the sky method. Haha

in maps : Azura , aftermath ,blood drive , and clocktower there is a clock (romans numerals clock) that have the same time (10:10)

i read another thread about easter eggs on various maps and seen someone else mention anthony carmine's picture on blood drive. is it on the newspapers strung across the floor?

i was playing horde a few night ago and noticed them in ghost cam - there's papers with a picture of a cog solider, and he does look like anthony

The COG Gear newspapers on the floor are one of the Collectibles in Gears 2, They are also on Overpass, Blood Drive, and in Campaign.
There is also a name on the Paper(someone else that isn't Carmine)

In the loading screen for cove there are caps that say dizzy juice and a news paper headline
That says imulsion tanker collides with a poultry transport which was probably hinting at the lambent chicken Easter egg

The Slab easter egg is eating at my brain. Do we know any more about it than just the ball part? I read a comment somewhere that there was supposed to be more to it, but that it just never made it into the game. I just can't bring myself to believe it though. If someone has any information please let me know, or if you would be interested in exploring it sometime just add me, my GT is the same as my username.

I'm sure the Slab EE is done. I think a mod on here said there was originally more to the EE, involving throwing an Incend in a washing machine, but they never got it to work properly so they left it out and the Boomer laugh and rat is the end of the EE.
