Default Flaw I found with Dom...

I just don't get it, why in the world would they kill him? I figure he wanted to be with his family or something, and he wanted to save the rest of the crew, but think about it....

It was gas tanks... why couldn't he have threw and grenade or shoot it with the hammerburst he picked up... it was a gas tank, they explode easily... :/

So you wanted him to shoot the gas tanks up close instead of giving Marcus enough time to get away from the blast zone?

Marcus didn't even get away from the blast zone dude, he jumped off as the truck hit the tank, hence why Marcus was dazed....

Mythbusters has proved this wrong. Even shooting directly at a gas tank rarely does anything beyond making holes. Don't believe everything you see in hollywood.

But in the game, all gas tanks explode with a couple bullets, just like the last resort gas tank, I shot it once with a hammerburst and it exploded.

In-game and In-cutscene are different. If you get shot in the head in a cutscene, you're done, son. If you get shot in the head in-game, you either get downed or respawn.

In the same episode they proved that in order to create an explosion using a gas tank the tank must be pressurized and it must be simultaneously punctured and exposed to flame. The truck wasn't on fire when Dom crashed.

Of course, all of that only applies if the tank was filled with gasoline or another mundane fuel. I'm guessing that it was actually imulsion in the tank and powering the truck; that crap seems to explode if you so much as sneeze on it.

I was wondering if the refined imulsion can infect life forms or is it only crude imulsion? It would explain why mostly the refineries had people getting sick from it.

The imulsion coming from the ground probably had some sediment mixed in with it, and refining it would remove the contaminants. The 100% pure imulsion would probably be much more infectious than anything taken straight from the ground.

I'm guessing crude, it'd explain much.

you seem to be forgetting the fact that in GoW3 clay carmine got shot in the head with a longshot by a stranded sniper and survived.

I am very upset that Dom died. It's gonna take me a while to get over this, if I get over it.

He believed he had little reason to live...an opportunity arose in which he could attribute the reason for his suicide to a more noble cause, and he took it, thereby not only succeeding in ending his own life, but also helping prolong the lives of those few left he cared for. I thought it was touching. Dom in death became one of my favorite characters.

During the entire cutscene I was thinking that Dom could just hop in the truck, drive it next to the roof that Marcus was on, have everyone jump on top, then drive away. Of course, I also figured out that Dom was going to die when he didn't make it across the bridge, but it still felt really predictable and forced.

What I just don't get is... Why couldn't he have placed a rock on the pedal (or even his gun/shotgun) and jump out once he alligned the truck to crash in the fuel tank.

I found it a bit... cheesy..

You never found the collectible of Hayman's psychological report of Dom, did you? He's mentally unstable.
