It's all about the win not K/D

Why do you think K/D is more important than the win? If you are good you should be able to win simple as that. My K/D is 2.5 and W/L is 2.8. Every game I have played so far has been with random people. If I played with my team it would probably be twice as good. I am tired of hearing people talk about k/D because there is ways to ramp that up cheaply.

All that is important is that you win the game you are currently playing. I could care less how many games you won or people you have killed prior.

Winning is to easy, so getting a higher k/d is more interesting to me.

k/d is the only indicator of skill, which also needs to be taken with a grain of salt. W/l is nothing more than a representation of how often you play in a party, which also bolsters k/d.

Not completely true, you can still have good k/d and w/l on the ranked/public leaderboards.

Well you seem to get all the luck my friend. I, like many others get the worst of the worst on our team too often. I'm talking about the sort that will have a retro lancer fight with a sniper across the map... thats if they remember how to get into cover....

W/L and to a degree k/d is very preportional to how often you play with a team and how much you use teamwork with each other.

K/D and W/L both never meant anything. Why do people think they do?
Both stats can be influenced by out side forces. Lag, bad teammates, an off day, emotions( a family death might make you play worse, while being angry might make you play better), etc.
You know what really shows you how good someone is? Play with them! O.o
Stats can only give you a rough estimate of how good a player is.
