Random leaders in CTL?

As the title says i was wondering how the game chooses who the leader is. I swear in the beta it was the highest rank to start and then whoever captured the leader after that.

I can understand the first leader being chosen randomly but why is it the leader is always random? Imagine how fair it is when one teams leader is lvl 30-40 and the others is under lvl 10! how does that make sense?

Im loving gow3 and ctl but the never knowing who the leader is gonna be is starting to get annoying. It seems to always be the one random without a mic whos never played a single ctl game before who becomes the leader. If we can epic cant we atleast change it to whoever captured the leader becomes the leader?

i would love to know this as well.. it def doesnt seem very random at all... the games ive played it is the same few ppl getting it.. answers would be nice

answers would be nice indeed sir....... someone must know. CTL has been my most played gamemode so far and still ive seen no pattern

yea me and my friends have been playin CTL more because KOTH has had a ton of sawed off users.. and CTL seems to have less of that. I know its kind of random on who is the leader but it seems to be random with certain ppl getting it more often

This sad..... no one gives a damn about this. Every thread on front page is dbs/retro/lancer are op and im going to cry about it where are the mods!!! So many repeat threads and my legit question cant get answered. If anyone knows what im looking for it would be much appreciated as i feel the guns are well balanced and need little to no changes. Its like noone can adjust to new play style created by rifles actually working.

If we cant have guardian or assasination id atleast like to understand how to become the leader as it clearly just picks whoever. If thats the case then wtf fix this now because im sick of randoms with no clue becoming leader round after round. First round sure make it random but after that it should be whoever has most points or whoever captured enemy leader. anyone agree?

I would love to know how the leader gets determined. I'm not gonna sit here and tell you I'm the best player in the world, but I'm pretty good and in most of my matches I'm top 3 in scoring...my point is, I know what I'm doing. So...I want the responsibility of being leader. I don't want teammates who don't know what they're doing to be the leader. I hate losing a match of CTL without ever having a chance to be the leader...if I'm the leader and I lose fine, but if I lose without that chance I feel almost cheated in a way...that's probably too strong a word, but I do get annoyed when a teammate runs out as the leader and gets themselves trapped.

It could at least be like Guardian where whoever gets the capture becomes the leader, or maybe whoever has the highest score becomes the leader (as long as they weren't the leader in the previous round) but...the way it is now seems pretty random.
