Something I don't quite get.

Is their a paticular reason Grenadier Elite is unlocked from the start, but you have to rank up to unlock normal Grenadier?

Is it something to do with that weird glitch in Gears 1 where if you selected Grenadier as you default Locust, you got Grenadier Elite and vice versa, or is it in the Horde, "Elite's" are actually lower down the food chain?

No its kind of like why anthony carmine requires level 75 or 76. Its a character for the hardcore gears players who have played since the beginning. The grenadier is my favorite locust so working for him is pretty cool to me.
