PUGs vs. Arranged Matchmaking

After playing the for more than a few hours today (I did have to stop to try out the new NV DLC though), I have to say I'm having more fun with Gears 3 MP than any of the previous Gears games. Likely due to the fact that the Shotgun is not Russian Roulette anymore and the assault rifles can actually do something now.

However the is one thing that has been bugging me all day: that almost all the games are teams of PUGs or a group of 2+3 randoms vs. an arranged team of 4 or 5. Oh sure, there have been some PUG vs. PUGs, but the vast majority seem to be arranged vs. PUGs. Needless to say, this isn't very fun. Because unless the arranged team is just naturally bad, the PUG teams tend to stand little chance against the arranged teams.

Could you perhaps tighten the search restrictions (in Ranked at least) to make Arranged vs. Arranged and PUG vs. PUG more likely?

Been rather different for me i must say, I've been running mostly with 3 friends and we bump into groups of 3 and 4 and when we get a 5th person in our team we were finding other teams of 5. What game type you been playing ?

Except for Beast, because apparently MM for that just isn't working.

And today it was even worse.

I played about 5 games of Warzone after finishing the campaign tonight, and ALL 5 of them were 5 randoms vs. an arranged team of 5.

The cherry on the top is that in two of the games I at least 3 of the people on the other team were already on my "Avoided Players" list.

As well as that worked in HW, and as excellent as Gears 3 is, I don't think the game will sustain a high enough population to have that many different playlists and have them all be playable.

And the recent games I've been getting are even worse. Now they're games of 5 randoms vs. 5 arranged and I'll the highest or second highest person on our team at level 20 and no one on the other team will be below level 40.

Yesterday was even worse. Its getting pathetic now.

I was in multiple games of arranged vs. PUG where the I was the only one on the PUG team with a positive K/D at all and the other team was arranged and they all have 2.0 K/Ds or better, some as high as 5.0 or 6.0.

Please, please stop letting PUGs fight arranged EPIC. I know I'd honestly rather wait 15 minutes for one good game than play 3 ****ty games in 15 minutes.
