Split Screening & Changing Multiplayer Options

We've already notice that you can't change your weapon loadout after death(You can access the Ghost Cam and Overhead Map View). When you go to pause>Options>Multiplayer Options, the menu takes up the full screen meaning in order to change your weapon loadout you and your partner must be dead. Hope this can get sorted

Wait, so playing split-screen means we can't properly change our loadouts in-between deaths. Troy could you expand on that? Could it be fixed in a future update?

When they were developing splitscreen, some elements were left out due to screen space. Onscreen UI's have to be compatible with all resolutions, including old 480p TV's. This restricts what can be placed on the screen at once.

This is by design.


Perhaps if enough people voice a desire for this, it might be addressed later on, but no guarantees.

I find this really annoying its rare that both you and your partner die at the one time, I really hope enough people agree on this as we were the ones who often suffered in Gears 2 with the "corrupted profile" issues as well...
