It should be capture the Thrashball, and players fight for the thrashball on the map and have to run it to the goal on the opposite ends of the map. At least with it being a thrashball instead of a flag it stays more gears related.

There are already balls on some of the maps, just make them an object that can be picked up. Maybe whenever a user holding the ball swings at an enemy it will knock the player you hit back like a mantle kick to give you time to try and evade??

Very good idea and others have mentioned Thrashball as well. I agree with the melee but feel there should be a way to kill someone as the ball/flag carrier. Otherwise a simple stun won't work as they'll just down you (rifle damage) immediately after.

It could be like a playable version of campaign Cole Train in Act 1 at the Thrashball Stadium.

Anyone ever considered my idea for a unique CTF mode. Having Skorge come back and instead of flags being placed at spawns, the chainsaw staff that he used in Gears 2. And you can only use it close range

Lol the main gears forum has 1.5 million plus posts and this multiplayer section has less than 300,000, that's the difference lol.
