That's really handy, but there are so many more 'tips' to Horde that a lot of people don't utilize. These are things I do anyway

Always keep an assault rifle, two power weapons just doesn't work.
When choosing assault rifles I find it helpful to lean towards the hammerburst, enemies are always dropping ammo for it, and it's capable of killing most enemies before they can even hit you because of its range, and within 20 rounds(Before wave 11 this is true even on boomer type enemies.)
If you use a power weapon, use one you're good at, let teammates use ones they're better at. E.G.: I am very good with the torque bow, I always buy it because I can pop anything's head with it. (My favorite setup is Hammerburst, Torque Bow, Boltok, Frags, with that I'm a headshot honcho)
Stay near fortifications to kill the enemies that get caught up in them. Like a barrier, they get stuck on it, they're going to destroy it if they are left to continue to try and break through it, extend its life and your cash by dealing that locust damage the whole time.
Obviously, headshots will stun locust if they don't outright kill.
Prioritize maulers in anything besides a boss wave, they can overrun your defenses easily because of the flail.
If in an execute enemies bonus wave: Frag grenade tagging counts as an execution, but with additional benefit: Every single enemy killed in the explosion counts as executed. Meatshielding counts as an execution. Additionally, you can use the trick below to get enemies down easier - That is, aim low.
In a headshot bonus wave, if you have trouble hitting heads, you can down the enemy by shooting them in the legs with a snub pistol/gorgon/smoke tag(? works competitively)/lancer/hammerburst/and if you're good, retro to get them down, and use your headshot capable weapon to pop that head(Prefer snub because other weapons get only one chance for the head or they're dead)
IIRC: Hammerburst is capable of head'popping'.
The torque bow always kills drudges if they are stuck with an arrow.
The Torque Bow's instant headshot kills also works on an armored kantus if it is screaming, regardless of its health.


Also, for epic Lulz, you can retro charge through a horde of formers and slaughter them all for bonus points in the form of "The Quinn" medals. Great fun.

Yep. It works the same for horde. I used to go into horde and get a lot of execution to get more xp.

The Command Center is only available to those who purchased the Horde Command pack.

I'd just like to point out that whatever random number generator Epic used to determine when a given boss type would show up needs some tweaking.
I have to wonder what the point is of having six different boss types when you are playing a Horde match you wind up with the same boss type over and over and over again...

I would love it if there was a DLC Horde Mode.
I bet more than 50% of the Horde disconnects is due to the lack of Map Variety in Public Horde.

Is this hard to do?

Not knocking the game, but I did notice it hit the $20 dollar bin at the local Kmart this weekend. Maybe now is a good time to just give away the maps so at least we can play Horde on them if they are not going to fix the playlists. It has been a year and if they haven't made a special playlist for Horde with maps by now, they probably aren't going too.
