Default Do I need seperate .ipa files for 3gs and iPhone 4 / touch?

My UI is all Kismet and is laid out individual to each resolution.

    1024x768 - iPad
    960x640 - iPhone 4 / iPod touch
    480x320 - iPhone 3gs

Will I need to have 2 versions of the game for the iPhone 4 / iPod touch and iPhone 3gs? or is there a way to package the different map files into one package and have it detect the device it's on, choosing which map to open?

No the UDK makes a universal app so it works on the 3Gs to iPad 2 with just one ipa. You should have a UI that scales with resolution. It is possible to do with Kismet.

    How is it possible?

Between the three resolutions the UI is all over the place; using add input zone, draw image HUD, draw text HUD and draw text.

You can use relative values (between 0.0 and 1.0) for the positioning and/or sizing in the Kismet actions and events as far as I know. That should make it so it will be positioned and/or resized appropriately on different size screens.

What about Draw Image? It doesn't have any relative settings.

Values between 0 and 1 in the DisplayLocation, XL, and YL properties act as relative values.
