Silverback in Multiplayer

I don't believe it has been confirmed so would you like to see the silverback in multiplayer or have it out. Please leave comments if you think certain modes in multiplayer should have silverback. Thank you for posting please leave comments.

well rod says its in mp but am sure its going to be much different then the campaign silverback or horde

I'm pretty sure that in the Q & A yesterday that Rod confirmed this, I would like it but only if it's on one or two maps and it's not over powered.

From what people have told me, Silverbacks are quite the "Glass Cannon" (Lots of Fire power, but pathetically weak.) Perhaps a few grenades a Boomshot round or two would bring it down?

I remember I asked which would be harder to kill, Berserkers in Horde mode or Silverbacks in Beast mode, and pretty much everyone said Silverbacks will be easier to kill.

I think the silver back would ruin MP if it was in it. People would abuse it.

The silverback is in Multiplayer, believe a friend told me it takes a while for it to be built, kinda like stages. if anyone knows the map tell me

Yup, there is a map where you can "summon" a Silverback, but to do so you have to activate buttons on two sides of the map (something like Garden glasshouses). Not sure whether they both have to be pressed by the same team though.

well i bet that either team can press the button when both do everyone will rush it leaving someone to get a power weapon

if they put a silverback in competitive multiplayer everybody is going to rush and have a huge shotgun battle just for it imagin ctl or team deathmatch or ANY respawn type and someones is in a silverback just raining death on you..... you will get insta down insta killed... just no and if they where to put a silverback into multi they would have to be one next to both spawns...

and when you do that your not even playing gears anymore

Actually since it's in Gears you are playing Gears. People need to realize that.

rod said it would be like a turrent so maybe it being stationary am guessing. someone walking around with silverback in multiplayer will just spoil it for me dont know about anyone else but still we dont know how powerfull it is.

you can't abuse it if you both have access to it.

I support it. Apparently they can swap weapons out for it, not sure about that though. Vehicle/Weapon factory actors are very different things

I highly doubt it will be stationary; it's a Silverback, the thing moves.

As people have posted, it is believed to be in multiplayer, but we shouldn't discuss leaked stuff...

This was officially revealed during last night Q&A.
