    Big Grin

Gladly you used your effort mate; I've got more than 100 voice packs on my computer just for fun with bots, even if stated that UT2004 will crash due to loading a number of skins, maps, mods and also voices.

Just to be sure that you must set your sound files to "8-bit, 22 kHz mono .WAV files" to reduce the file size, but mostly, '16-bit' is a bit heavy file size for the pack (all volumes), and also 11 kHz is very tainted low quality to hear them (don't use the quality because it was harder to understand under all the other sound effects and music that went on in the game). I just checked your packs (in all volumes) through UnrealEd, that means I've been looking forward to test your packs again.

TBH: I've been searching your .U and .INT files on the System directory of UT2004, too many thoughts that I have 1,200 or more files on mine (weird much as of March 2012).

To all UT2004/UT3/GOW modders, don't use GameFront because their FAQ is terrible and downloads not supported in some territories. Click here to find out how.

Heh, I also have thousands of mods on my UT2004 (24 GB in total) Its especially good if you can mod the game yourself - like some config files (I've changed personally ridiculously a lot in bot config files).

Going back to the main topic, mine voicepacks are set into 32-bit 44kHz mono wav files - for the best possible quality. My game didn't crash a single time though, even if I was simulating bots only matches at 30x speed (by slomo 30 command on console) with the highest possible graphics settings.

And btw, my system folder has over 1500 files^^. I was also downloading many things for UT2003 that actually work without any problems for UT2004 (like models, skins and such).

I won't publish new voices till next final update which will end this over one year old modding project (to not get distracted into extracting voices from even more games). As it is for now, after releasing 3rd volume I've created additional 54 voices making it in total 109 highquality voices. If someone is interested in testing those voices before official release, please PM me.

I use 11khz 8bit so servers can push them faster.

No way to do it randomly, but you can assign them in the bot config files (.upl) much quicker than within the game.
You just need to add line " ,Voice=XYZ" at the end of each line describing the bot where XYZ is voice package name like for example Marcus.Marcus - you can check them in the int files that come with voice packs. However its important to do it only with downloaded bots and skins since if you add lines to standard bots some servers can detect it as a cheat surprisingly.

    Lightbulb In addition...

Agreed with MJpoland, you can also create a new .UPL file (by using Notepad++ or other text editing software) with custom VPs everywhere that you assigned to, but do NOT modify the three default .UPL files (XPlayersL1, XPlayersL2 and XAPlayersL3) that are always stored in the servers. You can look at my VPs on the archive that includes the .UPL file in it and see how it gets.

Actually you can modify them to a certain degree. In my case, I've merged them into one file and switched the order of bots (I didn't want to have hundreds of upl files) and tempered a little with bots abilities. Anything else though would trigger a cheat control on servers
