prob with gears 1

would like a response back from epic on this. 13k kills, no seriously. i would please like this to be resolved. i've put 150+ hours into your game and would like my achievement.

sorry to say, but you have to just keep going until it unlocks, mine didnt unlock until 13,500+, theres no clear cut solution at all besides keep going....sorry

If you can't find a reason that fits for you by searching the forums I would try messaging either JoeGraf or Flak. Joe is helpful (if the answer isn't already on the forum ) and Flak is the goto Lady for Epic on the forum, if you send a nice message it will probably go down better than starting a thread

I thought I read some stuff about the kills all had to be on the same storage device (might have been gow2 though, sorry)

the fact is, not every kill counts. your stats page shows EVERY KILL you ever made. Unfortunately sometimes the "Stats Page" updates and the achievements do not.

Im not sure but i think; if your game ends early (host quits) i think your achvos wont get updated but the stats page shows your kills. Also if you play annex it updates your stats page but does not count toward the achvo. theres other way to get kills that dont "update" in the achvos department. If your well over 100,000 then im sure you are getting closer

as for getting a new update? its not gonna happen... the game is 5 years old and everybody is well aware of the achvo problems... doesnt that make it even more special when you finally get it?? anyway its not really a "glitch" but more of a "your doing something wrong" possibility

Why can't they just fix it? Why is it so absurd to fix something in a game that they made? Gears 3 is basically done and ready to ship. Just because it's an old game doesn't mean nobody plays it. Loads of people still play it. Recently, Battlefield Bad Company got an update to fix one of their achievements and that came out a while ago. It's not unheard of to continue support for old'er' games.

i just find it hard to believe that over 3k kills didn't even count. i know i haven't quit that many games, seeing as i don't ever quit anyways. as far as host ending it...still hard to believe over 3k kills didn't count.

I'm pretty sure a longgggggggggg time ago I seen something that said the more you quit the longer it takes for your achievements. Like if you quit all the kills in that game don't count plus some of the kills next game won't count either, so it all adds up. Not 100% but I thought I read something like that back when Gears 1 was still in its prime.

Edit: Also, not sure if everyone knows this, But only Exe and Warzone kills count towards Seriously.

I have like, 10 kills in ranked LOL.
There were lots of people that didn't play ranked in Gears 1.
