Its been quite some time since ive added anything to the gears collection. But with Judgement just being announced, its putting me back into the mood.

I have yet to buy any of the Gears 3 Figures, other than the Marcus and Locust 2 pak. So i think getting those will be next on my list. Im pretty sure i saw Marcus, Cole and Dom at FYE for just 9.99. Hoping they still have them when i go back.

Ive also been keeping my eye out for figures like RAAM, A.Carmine, and Lt. Minh Young Kim, but i font feel like spending an arm and a leg to get them.

So its been like 8 months since i got any gears swag.. that is absolutely wayyy too long! Ive just been working so much lately i havent really had any time to slow down and buy anything for myself. But last night i took a trip to the mall to grab some of the Gears 3 figures from FYE as they were marked down to $9.99. I picked up..

-GoW3 S.1- Anya Stroud
-GoW3 S.2- Augustus Cole
-GoW3 S.2- Dominic Santiago

All for just 32 bucks after tax! They had Damon Baird, but his arm had fallen off in the package. I almost took him to the front and asked if i could get a discount. But i keep my figures sealed so it didnt really serve a purpose in my collection. But when i make it down to the mall again, if its still on the shelf and if i can get it for like 5 or 6 bucks, ill probably just snag it, i bet the arm could pop back on and for 5 bucks, who cares.

Now im still on the hunt for the rest of the Gears 3 figures, im going to try a couple other FYE's around me to see if they have the others for 10 bucks. If they dont, i might just have to get them from another store. I have plans on getting the anya and baird varients as well as the SDCC exclusive Elite Theron too. I still have a few older ones i still need to grab, like Boomer, Theron w/ Helmet, Kim, RAAM, and A.Carmine. Im just waiting to get them for the right price, because i refuse to spend 200$ on a figure.

Well thats whats going on with me, sorry for taking forever on an update. I promise i wont go that long without one again. If anyone knows where i can get a hookup on said figures above for a decent price, please let me know!

Picked him up at my local flea market. I was going there hoping they would have Clayton and Marcus as well, but they didnt. So i just snagged him. For some reason i cant seem to find those last 2 in stores anymore. All i find are Cole's and Dom's. They must have produced more of those or something. Anyways ill continue the hunt for the remaining 2

As far as the newest series, i just went to Toys R Us again tonight, and still no luck. I wonder when these things are going to arrive!! I WANT THEM

As soon as you find them please post it. I live in New Hampshire and cannot find the newest series anywhere either. Also on another thread I saw about the Elite Theron and how it was said that it wont be available on Amazon. Is this confirmed. Because I got a 50 dollar amazon giftcard for my birthday, and I was saving it specifically for that. However if its not going to be put up there then Im going to display no patience and get the whole series 3 with the giftcard.

haha ya man it makes sense. I saw that, I just dont want to pay near 50 dollars on a rehash figure. Which is why Jace is the only figure of all of them I do not own. Sad that our last 2 SDCC exclusives have been rehashes. It's disappointing to me. But I feel that just like Jace, give this figure time and you'll be able to get it cheap...

Seems like you would be able to get him for just under 50 with your gift card. As far as whether he will drop in price or rise, its hard to tell with it being so soon. I mean as of right now, its an exclusive figure to comic con that just came out. So people who didnt go to comic con are willing to pay more money to get their hands on him with the thought that it may become harder and harder to find in the future. I mean like you said, the last 2 exclusives are still everywhere, but NECA hasnt given us exact production numbers so its up to us to assume. And there lies your problem.

As far as the wave 3 figures, ill definitely post in my thread the day i get them. I mean as of right now, it seems like the only people that have them, are the people that ordered them online. And with these figures, it seems to go from west to east coast. Im pretty sure my local toys r us gets their shipments on tuesdays. I know an FYE near me carries the gears figures but i called a few days ago and they said no. Ill try calling them again tomorrow to see if maybe they got them in.

Either way, ill keep everyone posted. And please, if you happen to see them before i do, please post to inform me!

so its been awhile since ive updated and this is what i have picked up within that time. I snagged coalitions end at a new bookstore in my mall. Its called the "Book Shack" and no book in the store cost more than 10 bucks. Most of them, including Coalitions End were just 6 bucks! so i had to grab it. I wish they had the Slab and Anvil Gate too.

I got the strategy guide on ebay. I saw it listed with a starting bid of 6 buck so i went for it and i ended up being the only bid. So that was a nice little pick up.

Lastly the theron guards. I ordered these 2 from NECA themselves. Now all of the therons that NECA sold online didnt come with the "SDCC" stickers on them. I sent them several emails and ended up getting 1 of the stickers in the mail. As you see i havent stuck it on yet. Im actually getting a 3rd theron from a friend who went to SDCC and that will have the sticker on it. Im seriously considering saving the sticker and when a Carmine pops up with no sticker and sells for less, i can hop on it and save some money :P.

Im thinking its time to update the OP again. Organize it a little better with some updated pictures. I have 3 days off next week so that will be a perfect time! I also have some other items that i just havent taken pictures of yet so ill try and get those done and posted as well.

I am! But they are pretty common and are still fairly cheap, so im in no rush to get one. Trust me ill get one eventually

hmm thats a good question. I dont see a lot of comic lots listed as actual auctions. Mostly buy it now prices. I also havent looked at the individual prices of them either. I would think you could get more if you sold them separately. They retailed at 2.99 each right? so i mean at the VERY least i would value each at 5.. 5x14 is 70.

if only you had 17-24 lol id buy them off you

Wish I had three of the items (LE GoW Controller, Countdown clock, Standee)

Controller - Have one, but want another to keep sealed.
Clock - Friend has a Halo4 one from GameStop and it blinks Halo4 and so it'd be cool to have the GoW3 one.
Standee - Wanted it from the local GameStop, but they threw it out.
