Petition for Bolter in Gears 3 MP! (390+ Supporters!)

The Bolter

To me, Bolter is the most legitimate and skillful Locust out there. He just sprints around, Boltok in hand, and doesnt afraid of anything.

And it isn't just me, it's most of my friends, and im sure many, many more people. So as long as he makes it into multiplayer, even if it's just his Gears 2 model copy/pasted into the game, I'll be golden.
Besides, he's way cooler than all those other super popular Locust that are being requested for Gears 3 like Cyclops (Bolter's helmet is better) and Skorge (Bolter would win in a Boltok-only fight.)

Please Epic? If he can't make it into the game please included him in DLC. I know it's possible so don't lie.
Maybe you could throw in some Michael Barrick too? Eh?

I see no reason why they wouldn't include him, actually.
I could understand dudes like the Palace Guards or Armored Kantus need to be scaled down thus making them hard to convert into MP, but the Bolter is already scaled, just like the other regular Locusts.
Come to think of it, he should have been available in Gears2. Kinda makes you wonder why they left him out.

Yeah, he certainly looked better than more than a few locust MP characters. Yes, I'm looking at you Skorge & flame grenadier.

The way I see it, there should be no reason to not include already scaled down characters that are present in the Campaign into MP characters, such as the Bolter. But there are others that exist ever since the first game that didn't make it into the MP for some reason too.
Remember these Snipers that wouldn't wear their googles and go Baird style ? I liked them and always thought it was a shame they weren't available for MP.
Let's not forget about the helmetless Therons, also.

Actually I have a feeling he's going to be in, seeing as Epic seems to be trying to have a lot more MP chars this time around, compared to the first two games.

You have to understand that they have limited space though. Sure, I'd love to see every single Gears character in existence playable, but they only have a certain amount of room on one disc.

This is my guess as to why they are so reluctant to bring back characters from previous Gears games. This is also probably why they cut Tai from the game, since to my knowledge they gave no reason.

Really didn't see the point of that. Cut one of Cole's 50 skins or COG Gear, not an actual bloody character we only have one of.

You’re right, he's not, because he is cooler. (In my opinion anyway)

I'm not a big fan of the helmet model personally and always thought it looked a 'tad awkward. Though I have to say, the Gears 3 render I've seen doesn't look that bad; the drone body fits a lot better than the Grenadier elite body.
