Doubt it, the way I figure it will go even though this may sound clichéd is...

Months/Several Years pass - Grayson is still influenced under remorse for the loss of Ishi, sets out revenge to track down Sarano. Finds him and as a kicker he reveals his new ally ~ Ishi, even more heavily augmented with his core under complete control of Sarano.
