Thread: No Sound

    Default No Sound

I have no sound in the game. I'll have it during the intro videos for Epic games, but right after that it goes away and won't come back.

Well i use USB headphones and for some reason the usb gets moved alittle and my sound goes away.Try updating your sound card drivers. IF that doesnt work start the program like this(right click the shortcut or icon and select 'Run as Administrator').

Hm,the only thing left to do is reinstall it,becuase it sounds like something installed wrong
during the installation. BUT before you uninstall do this: right click the speaker icon in the toolbar for the system volume and select playback devices, then highlight the active one (green circle with white checkmark is the one we need) and go to properties in the lower right hand side. Make your way to the advanced tab at the top and turn down the audio quality to "16 bi,t 44100hz (CD Quality)" apply and try again.

Did you even read that page, it doesn't tell you how to fix anything.

Fix #1. You have to know how they encode their sound.
    - Umm I'm not a software engineer nor do I write their software, so how would I know how they encode it?

#2 Actually the Bulletstorm just encodes a stereo signal. So what you need to do is to figure out how to get multichannel sound direct to your receivers.
    - hmmm #2 maybe if I take a screw drive and drive it straight threw my eye, I can get the multi channel to go to my reciever. I'm not export on sound drivers since I'm no software engineer, but it might work.

#3 After you have read the above two tips, you need now to skip the DTS encoding process completely.
    - Well I just did a skip, but all I did was jump a lil in the air. Guess that didn't work either.

Tip1: Fix Bulletstorm Sound Device Issue

The easily way is to use the BulletstormINIeditor, then you should access the Bulletstorm config file and change bForceNoMovies=False to True.

Tip2: Fix Bulletstorm Sound Device Issue

Maybe the complete method is Install the latest DirectX update.

Tip3: Fix Bulletstorm Sound Device Issue

Last but also useful that you can press HOME on the menu screen, select settings, followed by voice, then access the voice settings to change the device

I sent you to this one.
