How long does it take to reach level 100?

It takes something like 6000000xp?

I know someone thats not even interested in Gears and is level 40, so I'm imagining that with the help from xp events it can be achived in a few weeks?

I'm level 1 at the moment, because of stupid rank reset bugs.

for me,it takes less than 10min for at least 1000exp so it will take at least 1000hr

well you need 6,825million xp. playing without xp event can be very frustrating on higher levels. i do not know if the 18x is still active (should have ended on april 25th but was still active on april 26th) but with 18x you can do about 1 million a day so you have to play just 1 week.

few weeks with 2x is nearly impossible. maybe if you are a wingman pro and playing every day 10hours or more.

well. gears 2 is fun but it is too much xp for 100. i would never do it again. thank god i did not get a reset (so far ).

well there is no acutal time thing for each one it depends on the method you use one could take forever some could take weeks (from what i have heard). My method im currently using is horde. if you can play an online horde match it will really help them begining ranks. i went from lvl 1 to 25 in like a hour. dont know how it works with higher ranks im still a lvl 25. Not sure about future ranks but i can say if you play horde with the right people for awhile you will be ranked it really helps with begining. Maybe if you play with really good people that can get horde done fast it may help future ranks. Plus the higher diffculty level for horde helps to. Not horde just helps other modes like warzone or what ever helps you to. It all depends on type of match,people you play with, and your skill. Those are 3 key things to help you. Hope i helped.

It takes 6825825 XP to get to level 100, now, you're pretty much going to need a large multiplier event or a relatively long one. For the weeklond 22x event I got like 5 million XP after playing quite a bit. You can get a decent amount of XP in horde, but depending on your skill level, multiplayer is the best way to get XP. If you have other people with you try social submisssion or wingman, you can get a lot of games fairly quickly and do fairly well if you get host. If you have 10 people total you can King of the Hill boost in a XP event and get a crapload of XP SUPER easy.

If your friend is only a 40 and is playing during a low valued XP event than it would take a good amount of hours playing to reach the 100 rank. Your friend would have to play during a bigger XP event.

It took me about a year, but that's after a reset from 34, hit the XP events hard, which is what i did and the XP will flow, and it's around 6.7 million xp i got my wings at.

The time taken is relative. If you've just started then it'll take a while, there's a learning curve.

If you've been playing a while then I got my second wingset 3 months after getting my first (it took me like 2 years of getting it first time). I would have a third but (I think I'm level 96/7 atm) but gears is too irratating to play now.

I've had it since Launch as well. Only level 67. Didn't play it often until DFC released... Even then, the bugs prior to their latest update made me hate the game. Now, not so much. I'm hoping for an event that gives something absurd. Like a 30x event. Won't happen, but I'd love to see it.

A few months though.... Ehhhh. I'm good at the game, not super great. I just couldn't fit in that much time to get to 100.
