Got a bit of an issues with shadows this time round, I managed to get moving shadows in my scene thanks to other users. But now I can only see it when right near it, when I walk away from it the shadow looses it shaprness and then fades out completly. So from a distance it looks as if it never happened. My friend has a similar problem in where if he walks so far away from his shadows they tend to cut off a if they have some kind of Position set to them like DOF when it is set to position instead of distance.
Any help would be great!

Do you happen to have any simple steps to reproduce this happening? We've been looking at shadows here but haven't seen them cutting out.
Doesn't UDK only render one dynamic shadow light at a time? In which case, if you've got multiple dynamic lights with shadows, it would switch to a different light as you get closer to it.
