I think you're right. A bearded Dom would be awesome. I do hope the third wave is Adam Fenix, Sam, and a Mataki would be sweet!

I wouldn't get my hopes up, they haven't even shown off prototypes for those characters yet. They showed off J.A.C.K., the Grinder Boomer, and the Butcher Boomer and they still have yet to come.

Oh and BTW, Dom will be bearded.

Do you guys think the Carmine Set will be a Toys R Us Exclusive? We have some pretty good assumptions for the first and second wave of gears 3 figures, but im trying to think of what exclusives they will be releaseing..

I saw on NECA's facebook page that people were finding the Marcus/Locust 2 packs at TRU this weekend. I checked but my stores didn't get em yet. Anyone get this set? Any pics??

seems like all the people that have it so far are from california. They must have gotten them first. Im going down to my toys r us tomorrow to see if they have any.

By the way. NECA will not be releasing a "Deadly Cute" (pink lancer) version of Anya Stroud. They confirmed this on twitter. Talk about a total bummer...

me neither man. rumor has it they are shipping west to east. Me being in massachusetts, ill probably be one of the last ones to get it. Im crossing my fingers they arrive this tuesday as thats when their trucks unload.

Nice dude! I actually picked mine up wednesday. I knew they would have them in this week! They had 5 on the shelf. I went through all of them carefully and picked out the best one. Some of the paint on the figures were messy. Like one of the marcuses had just black dots for eyes... I also noticed in some, the figures are all contorted. Like the legs were completely perpendicular.

Im going to go back after september 20th and pick up a copy of the game to get another one for free. Then just sell the game :P

I did the same thing man. I was a bit pissed tho cause the packaging was slit open on the best looking Marcus. I was lucky and they had six tho so I still got a good one. That's not a bad idea about getting one for free and selling the game....may have to think about that. If we don't chat again, have fun playing gears 3 tonight! Can't wait!

For those who havent heard yet...

Gamestop has had the "Journeys End Marcus Fenix" figure available for pre order for quite some time now. Well september 20th is here and people are starting to receive their figures. Unfortunately people arent getting what they were told, and what they expected...

People are getting the Marcus Fenix and Locust Grunt Toys R Us exclusive in the mail. And they even have the TRU stickers on them!!! I dont know if this was just a huge mistake by neca or what. But how can gamestop sell a Toys R US exclusive?

I mean it sucks that we were pretty much mislead, but you can still order this figure from gamestop for the price of 14.99 oppossed to 29.99 which toys r us charges...

Good question man. I dont know for sure, but my guess would be yes. I think they are just using smaller sculpts for their figures now.

I was doing my regular ebay search today, and came across this figure.

As far as i know, i DO NOT have this figure on my list as of right now. So i will be updating it. I just want to make sure i put it in the right section. This would be considered another exclusive right? as in its not part of an actual series. This is the exact same figure as the Toys R Us Exclusive Locust Grenadier. So it just doesnt have the sticker.

With all these locust and lambent grenadiers i get a little mixed up. So i apologize for not having this up sooner.

I thought i had the complete collection of action figures but i now realize i dont have marcus fenix with a gold lancer in a single figure? when and where did this come from..

i dont have theron guard w/ helmet but i do have theron sentinel which is identical but has a different name?

any help would be awesome

The Marcus Fenix w/ gold lancer is a variant to the Series 3 Marcus Fenix. For every i think 20 regular ones produced, one was made with a gold lancer. They are extremely rare, and go for over 100$. Heres a picture of mine!

As Far as the Theron Guard w/ Helmet and Theron Sentinel, i really dont know the reason behind it, but i know they are 2 separate figures. They are both in Series 2 as well, so its not like they just released the same figure in a new series with a different name. If you find out why its like this, im interested to know as well.

i remember seeing one a long time ago that a guy opened the package with a box cutter and painted, after seeing that i guess i kinda just didnt think to look into it any further. that might have been series 1 that the guy did that with.

Correct. I just compared them from pictures on the internet, and they are exactly the same. Just different name and part of different series. So neca just repackaged the Series 2 Sentinel for series 3 and called in the Theron Guard with helmet.

Yeah you should have hopped on that. I mean Anthony Carmine figures fetch up to 200 and they are ALOT more common than the marcus fenix with gold lancer. I got an incredibly good deal on mine.

To answer your question, Trading/buying/selling is against forum rules. You can get an infraction or even banned for doing so.

What about that 12 inch boxed Marcus Fenix figure by NECA (I think)? Is that on the list too? If you listed it by series, then I just missed it. One has sound and voice and one doesn't, right? I have two of them...not sure which ones XD

Those are separate... This a list of the 7inch figures.
