Here guys. Go to your dashboard, go to you system settings, select memory, once over your hard drive press Y, then select clear cache. Once this is done try playing the Gears 3 beta and you'll receive an update.

This is driving me nuts.... done the steps everyone has said, downloaded the installer, downloaded the update.... then when i go to play the game it Freezes right on the EPIC symbol upon loading the GOW3 Beta... Tried deleting it and downloading the 80+mb update again... cleared cache before.. after downloading and IT STILL KEEP FREEZING ON THE EPIC SYMBOL while loading... I keep doing what people have been saying about clearing the cache but... it does nothing! Xbox support is useless they don't know... anyone help me? it's not freezing during download either, while it's loading the game itself it freezes no matter if i have cleared the cache or not

@TRENBOLONE The only thing I can think of that might help you is if you download it from another xbox. I don't know why something like that would freeze.

@rayfinkle you need a code, go on xbox.com and go to 'redeem code' then paste your code.
