    Question How to make a controllable boat?

    In my game I need a boat,but I want to know how to make one.
    I want this boat to be controllable by the player and to stay on the water surface,so it won't move out of the water. I'm working with UDK for a few months,so I'm not very experienced. And can I make my boat just with UDK,or do I need other programs like Maya? Do I need to work with Skeletal Meshes,because I've never used one. And do I need to use Unreal Script?
    Make it a simple explaination,because I'm pretty new to UDK. Please help me.

    You will need another program like Maya, 3DsMax or Blender.

    You will also need to code the boat using UnrealScript.

    Sadly, I'm not into vehicles programming yet, so I cant help ya there.

    Okay,so I need to use Maya. I know someone who knows how to work with it,so that won't be a problem. But UnrealScript sounds pretty complicated. Can't someone just give me the code,so I can copy-paste it into the code??

    Do you want only boat ? Not a human ? If yes, just make boat as a player model. It's easy. Just learn how to use 3D modelling program (Blender [it's free], 3ds or Maya [both paid]), make your boat, and write script. All you need is in tutorials on websites.

    Well, after you make the boat in maya, you have to add your bones to it, and export it, after you import it into UDK you have to add sockets for where the camera will be and where you player will be sitting while you drive the boat, once you have a boat made, i have some code you play around with for the boat, if you have made your water volume, it will drive/float on it.
    (if you don't have a boat by tomorow, I could send you one of those as well)
