    I don't know how is the player supposed to know if the cover is climbable or not or whether the car is pushable or not ?

    The pushable cars are taught and reinforced only a few minutes prior to this scene. The truck beds being climbable is taught via ammo pickups located in them ala Ravendown several times throughout the level. Worst case, I can always stick another one in this scene.

    I also used a climbable SUV earlier in the level, so it shouldn't be too counterintuitive, but since I'm in the prototyping stage, I may do away with the initial climbing at the start of the scene and put in a ramp to get on top of it.

    Sorry for sounding rude in my first post. Anyway That's pretty smart way to convey it to the player. So when are you going to release the map ? It looks very interesting.

    Cool stuff, too bad the whole ?wargame~~~~boomer crap shows up, hopefully there'll be a few official ones that you can put in instead.

    Haha, good, I find playing other games can boost creativity when making a level/ease stress levels if the editor is mind-f***ing you yet again. You guys have no idea how much I played Assassins Creed on PC when first starting out. Well it was about 10 hours cause I beat the game, but then I was also playing dawn of war soulstorm, which gave me the ideas for bases in my locust campaign, like start at locust base and end at cog base, as well as visually adding other stuff.

    Sorry for asking here, but how did you get the Brumak to die? I spawn the brumak with an AI factory and linked brumak driver killed to kill all, but when the driver died, the brumak was still there. I did not use the brumak_bridge.

    I tested it in a new horde port that I made (on a map that I did not release here yet) and when the brumak spawned, there were other enemies around.


    What is the kismet for killing a brumak in battle like in that video?

    I apologize if it is a noob question, I only started modding GOW in a couple of days thanks to an error that prevented me from starting the editor (But I can still port to LGE some maps and horde with character selection, random switches, noise indicators of next waves and such to my suprise).

    Edit: I also added a brumak fight in the goldrush horde port, but I always get killed by the brumak in that one.

    There's a special event trigger for Brumak driver killed. You can connect that into the "Kill All" node of the Brumak AI factory, and check the bUseDamageonKillAll box. You might have to create an object variable for the Brumak and use an AttachEventToActor node as well.

    Can't currently load my map (crashes on load now), or I'd take you a screenshot.

    Looks like this map won't see the light of day after all. The editor has grown so unstable that it crashes any time I attempt to load the map. Sorry everyone.

    Sh1t, what a shame, this was looking sick.
    I am probably of no help, but if the editor is the problem, renaming the gears of war folder, and then starting the editor again(creates a new folder) may help restore the editor to original state.

    It has fixed most of my errors so far.

    Fear not, Bob. I was finally able to get this working in the editor again, and am working my way through getting this to an alpha level. I'll probably be looking for some private testing on the gameplay before doing an art pass, so let me know if you're interested.

    And yeah, I had to make another profile, this one is the one im using now.
