Hi I've created an Isometric Camera using code taken from the Camera Technical Guide. It works perfectly but all I want to do now is have the camera stay in a fixed position all of the time (ie. stop the players movements influencing the camera movement).
I tried using the following but had no luck:
I've also trawled the net and this forum but with no luck, can anyone point me in the right direction!?
You just need to make sure you don't set the camera location to the Pawn's location, and instead use a fixed location vector.
Is the cameras location defined within the Pawn class and if so can you send me a link to a sample piece of script ?
You have sample scripts from that document which you said you are already using. The code sets the camera location to the Pawn's location and then offsets it to give you the isometric view. To have a stationary camera, you need to change that first part to not use the Pawn's location. What you replace it with is up to you. It could be a constant vector or the location of some object in the world, whatever suits your needs.
