Get an error when instaling

When trying to instal the game I get the following error:

Any idea how too solve this problem?

I assume you have XP OS, so I would start with getting SP3 for it.

If that doesn't work. Go into the disk (right click & open) and then into the DirectX folder and run the DXSETUP.exe in there, prior to trying to run the installer, it helped me get a bit further in the installation... never had so much hassle installing a game though and the support for it is pretty naff.

Finally I got my limited PC version this morning, but when I tried to install it, I got exactly the same error. So I manually installed the DirectX, the GFW, the PhysicsX before tried to install the game again,but no luck. Damn it!

I am going to reinstall my windows and see if it will be fixed.

Game didn't install for me on XP 64b (SP2) at all, while it works fine at 32b (SP3) version. On 64b, I got error right after install directory setup window. Information for other who might have problems with intsalling the game.

I bought the game for my clanmate yesterday, she has XP x64 and has the same error.

Lynx, are they SP3? It's a minimum requirement.

@Dazz3, go and get SP3, if you are running Windows XP. You got to check the requirements of Bulletstorm, on the back of the game box. There you see, that SP3, in the case of Windows XP, is one of the requirements. Hope that helps you!

In connection to this, does it have any negative effect, when someone is running Windows Vista 64bit SP1, because I do. The installation was normal, everything worked, I just had to download the latest Geforce driver. I'm asking that, because on the back of the game box, SP2 for Vista is an requirement and I'm just wondering.
