A few tests in UDK from Venezuela

We are familiar with architecture visualization (renders and video walkthroughs) and lately we've been making a few tests in udk. One of them is an interior of a loft (sans decoration or furniture) and the other test is the Monument To The Sun (Monumento al Sol) in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, wich is an amazing cinetic sculpture by Carlos Cruz Diez, and a landmark of our hometown.

hi thanks... all models are static meshes and were made in 3dsmax but still there's a lot of work to do...its a work in progress... very please you like it...

Very, Very nice! Glad to see some more pro-level arch-viz work here! Both scenes are very nice and show a great understanding of the tools already! The lighting and GI in the interior is really nice. great to see the Unreal engine doing something not so gritty.

Got any tips on the lightmass settings or did you just use the settings as-is?

look very realistics especially the roads

btw, i am highly intested to render real world data in udk i mean dem+geotiff imagery

do you have any experience on this ?

Thanks! Those are some test using few teaks in the lightmass settings. I noticed though that when I activate AO the borders are too dark, so I doesn't look so realistic. I'm still getting used to UDK and exploring other options

Hi, the skydome I used here comes within UDK I just tweaked ita little bit. Thanks for your comment

Those screenshots make me think that UE3 would be great for a touring car racing game or something. Well at least for making the tracks, I imagine it would be alot of work making core racing game mechanics on it.
