    Question 3d tower defense game

im curious as to what skills would be needed in terms of kismet, and unrealscript. to create this game genre on one of the mobile iOS devices, i have a basic layout as of now. currently the camera is in the sky overlooking the playable terrain and whenever i play the level it falls(i have a feeling this problem is very basic). also how can i make it, i'm thinking through kismet if possible, where i can have a button of an available tower and have the user click where he/she wants it. many thanks in advance!

Your actual question is a little too general (what skills would be needed in terms of kismet and unrealscript). And I'm not really sure about your camera problem. I'm guessing it's just the player view falling through a terrain mesh.

Like Rockinoutt93, I recommend going through the 3dBuzz video tutorials before fumbling your way through. The initial investment of time is worth it.

You can download them here - http://udn.epicgames.com/Three/VideoTutorials.html

I also noticed someone put up an RTS frame work here - http://forums.epicgames.com/showthre...ight=framework

I haven't gone through it myself but there are overlapping game mechanics with RTS's and TD games.

Also, I believe they've released a early version of Dungeon Defenders which could be of help.
