UDK remote problem

Hello, so I downloaded the UDK Remote, and when I go to tell it to use my IP address, the "OK" and "Cancel" buttons are hidden below the keyboard, so I can't access them. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Okay, I fixed that... but now when I enter my IP/Computer name UDKR crashes...

I did the ipconfig all thing in the command line on my PC to make sure my IP was correct, but UDKR still crashes.

Any ideas.

Its sort of weird: You need to type in something, just anything. Then you need to hold your iPod/iPhone and flick your wrist back so you go from landscape to portrait/vice-versa. Do this at a normal speed, and eventually the box will say "Undo/Redo Typing" and below that it will say "Cancel". Now goto Portrait, and hit the "Cancel" button (its mostly hidden, but you should see the top. Eventually, after doing this so many times, you will see the box now in the corner, with the text box, and both buttons available. Unfortunately for me, once I put my IP/computer name in, UDKR crashes.

I found that same fix, but the same thing happens for me with it crashing once i've put my IP in. Tried it on a 1st Gen iPod Touch and an iPhone 3G and the same result on both. So maybe it's something to do with the method that we're using to get the box somewhere visible. I asked Mark Rein if there was going to be a fix for the Remote, and he said one was coming, but he didn't give me an ETA and let's just hope it's a fix for this problem, and that they do it soon.

Okay, actually, I did get it to work once, without having to do the method above, but when I tried to change it (I just had "uu"), well, I didn't know what I did, so...

But yes hopefully the fix will come soon, thanks for the info.

I've managed to get it to work, just type in the IP and then try pressing the very top of the OK button, it works eventually, took me a while, and whenever you accidentally press something on the keyboard you have to use the backspace to make sure everything is still right. Mine works completely now, been playing around with the Jazz Jackrabbit game and managed to add 4 computers to the list now. Just takes a little patience.

i have done every thing i can think of and udk remote doesn't send anything from my ipod touch to mobile previewer what am i doing wrong i have my firewall turned off

Hi

UDK Remote is working for me and gives tilt and touch, but only one touch type (look around) whereas there seems to be no way to get the onscreen joystick for movement on the PC going on the touch screen... is that something a user should set up?

Edit - Oh yeah, seems to be. I tried the SimpleCourtyard instead of my own level and the controls worked fine.
