    Default Question of startup movies

Are developers allowed to create custom startup movies while still retaining the fact we are using Unreal technology... To make it more integrated into the whole game concept design?

So, it would still include the Unreal logo and, quite frankly, I'm proud to wield such a logo in my game, but are some cosmetic rearrangements allowed?

    From the FAQ:
Q: Can we change the static UDK splash screen in our UDK apps?

A: For UDK:PC apps : Yes, you may alter the static splash screen as you see fit. The UDK movie, on the other hand, must not be changed.

A: For UDK:Mobile apps : You may not alter the "Powered by Unreal Engine" logo but you may put whatever you want immediately following.

So this means we do not have to show the entire movie? Just the logo?

Problem: Static "Powered by Unreal Engine" logo pops up for a split second AFTER playing a custom Startup and Loading movie. (Tried making the custom movies shorter and LONGER. Regardless of length the "Powered by Unreal Engine" logo pops up and looks very hacky and unprofessional.

Any fixes? Are people deleting the unreal logo and putting it into their startup videos? I'd hate to ship with the current issue.

I also have the same issue as Graveljaw.

Also, I am confused by the wording of modifying the 'Powered by Unreal Logo'. Does that mean that the whole startup splash screen cannot be modified, or that we just have to show the logo on the splash screen. I would like to have my own splash screen which includes the powered by unreal logo.

It means you can alter all the slash screens and images but not the animated powered by unreal Movie..
Splash screens are nothing to do with that short Movie!

I Don't see any Unreal splash screens on my apps, only the powered by Unreal Movie
