The product description says it comes with, "...the Deadly Peace Maker Carbine, additional boots and armor, 25,000 experience points, and visual upgrades for the iconic leash." The peace maker carbine? I thought this was already in the game. Is it only available to certain players?

Cancel and order it from GAME/Gamestation/Gameplay. Epic edition is exclusive to the Game group.

1: Both the cover and the booklet are refering to an 'Online Pass' code.
2: The code is on the backside of the booklet.

I pre-ordered it in NL from here http://www.consoleshop.nl/product/11...-xbox-360.html. It's priced down now that the game is released.

It's not the cover with the boot that announces the Gears 3 beta. It's a Dutch/French localized cover though, so that may be different.

The backside of the manual containing the code clearly says: *Code expires on 31st December 2020. Good only for new purchases of Bulletstorm Epic Edition.

I was under the impression that if I pre-ordered from Amazon.co.uk, that I would automatically be upgraded to the 'Epic Edition'. I finally get my copy and it is the standard edition. I originally checked the FAQ and I'm pretty sure it said that Amazon was good to go for the UK. I come back to check what has been said in this FAQ and it has all been changed to say 'in the US'. Maybe it was like this before, but I can't be sure as the OP was edited after I made my pre-order.

The only reason I bought this game was for the Gears of War 3 beta. Guess I won't need to bring my 360 with me to Amsterdam after all. Thanks Epic.

Thats' right, there was a mistake made believing that Amazon would upgrade it and that was wrong, it was Game exclusive.

Although really, you should be checking back every so often as I did, I changed my pre-order after I had realised Amazon wont be upgrading it and went to Game instead, I ended up smiling.

It doesn't hurt to check back for changes and quite frankly I believe you should have been checking back. therefore, it's not just Epic's fault, only partially that they had made the mis-understanding.

Why didn't you simply return you amazon copy sealed to them for a full refund and buy it from game?

As a person who has spent the last 2 months working on college projects non-stop, I don't feel as though I "should have been checking back".

For the past two months, since I pre-ordered the game in January, I have been away at college. I live in a house with no internet (I can't afford to pay for the internet myself, as all other housemates have dropped out or left for other reasons), so the only access to the internet I have is in college. Here comes the kicker, epicgames.com is blocked on the college network. There was no way I could have known about this mistake.

Forgive me for expressing my frustration at the fact that I was looking forward to coming home and playing some Bulletstorm this weekend, but instead am faced with the process of returning a game, waiting for the refund to come in, then trying to make another purchase and having it shipped to a different country altogether.

To make matters worse, I made the pre-order on a 3V, which is a prepaid equivalent to a Visa credit card because I do not have a credit card. The one problem with these 3Vs is that they have an expiry date, and it's usually the third month after the purchase of the prepaid voucher. I bought mine in December. This means it expires in March. This brings about a whole other problem that will be trying to repurchase on an expired voucher. I will probably be able to get a refund on the unused funds, but I will not be able to make another purchase without buying another voucher.

This is not helped by the fact that I am leaving the country for 4 months next weekend.

I only got home and opened the package yesterday evening. I just sent off the return today.

My frustration arises from a whole bunch of other things that all came together to cause a great big 'something that I won't say here'. If I had the money, I would just go and buy another copy, and wait out the refund, but I just can't do that right now.

Just to clarify to anyone not sure if they have it or not - The "Epic Edition" says "EPIC EDITION" right there on the front directly underneath the "BULLETSTORM" title in a smaller font in white lettering.

BTW I'm not 100% sure but I've read that if you have the Epic Edition it only will entitle you to get to play the GOW3 Beta one week earlier than the people who pre-order GOW3 ( If that's true I guess they get a code on their receipt that can be activated on a certain date?) . . .again I'm just forwarding something I read on a post somewhere else.
