    Default Destroyed Beauty (backgrounds)

    Given I tend to spend alot of time dead in MP matches, I get to roam around the levels in free camera. And I've noticed alot of thought has gone into making the world look authentic and uniform.
    I've also noticed alot of it looks very pretty, with some stunning architecture, back drops and scenery. Which I thought, that would make a great desktop wallpaper.

    SO I started taking "photos" of the surrounds from the levels. purely from a "tourist" point of view. I try to not have any items or players in the shot either.

    but heres a few. I have alot more, and am always taking more.

    As u can see from the last two of the same background from Pavillion. a differnet position can give a totally differnet photo, with different focal points and feel.

    These are absolutely beautiful, I guess you tend to overlook the destroyed beauty when you are too busy getting into a match.

    All photos are amazing and interesting. And the photography is fabulous. When one of them I set as background it really look very nice. As mention in your thread that last two photograph is near by same but some how difference angle. Nice photography.

    I miss the photo taking ability in Gears of War 2. Do you think they will add it into GoW3 sometime in the future?

    I hope so. I've requested it a few times in various threads and never seem to get a response to it.
