Default AS3 Support in UDK version of Scaleform

I've been trying to keep up with the news, but is there any time frame on when the scaleform version supplied with the UDK will support AS3? I've been using AS3 so long now I don't feel comfortable with AS2 anymore, and have been putting off playing with Scaleform until the next release.

    Thanks.

We're very close to releasing 4.0, but no official announcement has been made yet, so I can't say when it will be.

Ok, yeah I remembered Scaleform presented the AS3 demo earlier in August so I just wanted to see if it was going to be a few months behind the general scaleform release.

I would love to know this as well.

Is it as straightforward as when Scaleform 4 is implemented actionscript 3 will be, or is there potential to use actionscript 3 already?

Rather than continue to repeat myself, I'm just going to give you guys the Duke Nukem response.

It'll be there when it's done.

Yeah, i'm waiting, beacause a class like flash.net isn't implemented in AS 2.0 so I can't use things like URLVariables, URLLoader, ecc... :/
