Have you ever seen the later South Park/Family guy episodes? The way "F*ck" is constantly thrown into sentences come across as a bit... immature?

In our house, we substitute the word f*** with "fork." Athough of course it still sounds vulger when the kids say it in school.

Jay, I'm all over the place in regards to South Park. But in order to stay even more edgy and not have the fanbase tire of the same old, sometimes the show will go out of its way to appeal even more to the fanbase portion that watch South Park due to it containing strong language.

Lol, I know this is random but, just got done playing guardian, stole the leaders kill, he got pissed and started to mele me so I got on a wall and started to tee-bag. He wasted all of his ammo shooting at me and turned around only to see dom blow his head off. Thought I should share that with you all.

I know I've said this before, but you're a greater writer than I, SKORGE. Obviously there's some grammatical mistakes, but who doesnt have those?

I decided to read through all seven chapters, and I come away wishing for more. The pacing you've set up here is excellent, cutting short just when I feel the tension reaching a breaking point. The story moves smoothly from one event to the next with a world I can actually see, something I envy of you. Charred Sin had the same effect, as did your Stranded one shot.

The characters, as well, seem very alive. They all their quirks, which you let us pick up on without being overt about it. Your sublety is amazing. The way they speak is wonderfully true to life in a situation like this, from the military speak to the drawl of the civilians and panicked gibbering from the first doctor.

There were a few moments in the story where I got confused, but that was only because I was reading so fast I skipped paragraphs. It takes a good story and cast of characters to make me do that.

I know I say this all the time, as well, but I honestly want more of this. You craft a horror in this genre exceedingly well. There's a very tense vibe about it that makes me hunger for more. So you goddamned well better continue, and make it snappy!

What an awesome story so far! I am hooked to read more! What is in the vents? The "dead" gears and others infected with the sickness the doc mentioned? What do they know? Can Smithy and perhaps Garcia and/or Blaine make something out of the broken COG equipment in the back room? How did they see Kilo-Seven arrive and how did they communicate with them?

You must be busy...I get it, but man, you have a great story here that is begging to be finished! No matter what you say, you are a talented writer.

My son (JettMojo) and I (ReconSwag24) are big Gears fans and play all the time. He is better than me, of course, but we enjoy playing online together and learning more about the story. Thanks for devoting so much time to this fiction. It makes me want to write...maybe even pick up where you left off (if for nothing else but my own amusement- but NOT to steal your thunder). I consider the bold blasphemy. You are a writer, friend. I, on the other hand, am merely someone trying to portray the raw and dark nature of human emotion in text form. I do not consider myself anywhere near the scope of a true writer, but rather, the joker with the means to think and type what some find hard to express through verbal means.

I thank you for those kind words, however, and am willing to now continue on with this story.
