So, my friend, Shipdawg51889 have been tossing ideas around on how to make Jacinto a bigger and hopefully better map. We think it's a really great map, but it could be improved in a couple of ways.
Then, next to those stairs, there would be a "cool place" where you can shoot at mortar from afar. On both sides of the map, it's exactly symmetrical. From spawn, you have a ladder going up to this perch. And from the stairs leading down to mortar on each side, there are stairs to this perch as well.Most Important Thing in This Thread
The first couple ways are a combination of things. In spawn, there is a staircase that leads down to a tunnel that leads across to the other spawn. Well, if we could take out all that junk blocking those stairways, we could go into the tunnels.
Just open that right up, and make ramps up to the mortar underpass, so that you could go from spawn to mortar with ease. It would make for an interesting scenario of rushing to the other spawn or going to spawn via those tunnels.
Another cool feature would to be to open up the spawn points a little. There is a gate leading to another area. So why not open it up?
Then you could open up spawn a little more towards the back of the map here, with a ramp.
Another cool spot would be to open up the back of the map near Boomshot and Hammer of Dawn. Open this door, and have a tunnel lead to this other door, than around to the other side of the map, symmetrically.
The tunnels will also lead to sniper perches near the stairs on spawn, since spawn is so much bigger, it needs more sniping/boltoking positions.
Another place in the middle of the map that can be opened up is an under water way that leads to the tunnels that we opened up going to mortar.
These ideas were thought up by Shipdawg51889 and I, Comrade John. I'm sorry if you proposed an idea and it looks like I stole it. I don't recall ever looking at anything like this for Jacinto.
