Could someone explain the OneShot to me?

So...it's heavy sniper that shoots exploding projectiles. One shot kills you. I saw the design for it, saw it in action in the (AWESOME) multiplayer preview. That much I know.

I guess what I don't know is...how is that different from the torque bow, other than the fact that it's bigger and has a bigger (and more hilariously awesome) explosion? My first thought was "woah that thing is sick!" but my second thought was "but now the torque bow is just gonna be 'OneShot Junior'"

So...what don't I know that I SHOULD know about this weapon?

I'm wondering whether its like the Mulcher and Mortar or whether you can carry it on your back like the Lancer etc

If its the former then the torque bow would still be preferred as you can keep it and carry it rather than having to drop it...but I don't really know

Can it pop heads? Can you carry it on your back? if it has a warning laser and no splash damage, why would I want this instead of the torque bow? It's cool that it can blast through meatshields, but I heard it can go through shields and such...so can it go through thin cover or walls, too?

CWolf is wrong, the weapon in the MP footage that kills thrashball cole is the digger launcher, fired directly into the body, that then explodes.
So NO one-shot footage at the moment.

Ohhhhhh. See, I assumed that was the oneshot. I didn't realize it was the digger. That makes more sense then. BTW, the digger launcher looks AWESOME, very excited for that.

Well...I can't wait to see this pig in action then!

the multiplayer preview released today. right at the end, thrashball cole gets hit by something and it looks like he goes into this trance-like state or something like that. I thought it was the one shot...but apparently it's what happens if the digger launcher makes direct contact with you.
