Too late for DLC for Gears of War 1 game

Hey guys,

Since there is an exclusive Brumak battle for Gears of War 1 for PC, how about we get to experience playing that kind of act for Gears of War 1 DLC? I know Gears 1 is still old and some of us don't really play them, do we might as well get some experience playing that for xbox 360? I mean some people don't get to play that act. I wouldn't want to spend $50 just for another Gears of War 1 PC game just to play that level. I even don't use PC that can run current PC gaming generations.

Oh k, I really hope they release this. It'd be something to do while waiting for Gears 3.

what Act does the Brumak battle take place?

If I recall correctly, the 5 missing chapters in Act V which were made available in Gears of War 1 PC can't be made as DLC for the 360 version as the chapters were made on a more updated engine, which the Gears of War 1 Xbox 360 version cannot support.

However, as a flashback DLC for Gears of War 3 I would assume it would be possible.

And the Brumak boss battle really isn't all I was expecting. It felt more like a player-created Mod (albeit a high quality Mod). But with official cutscenes slapped on, of course. And who doesn't love frying a dumb monster with low-hanging electrical cables?

I just got GOW for PC, is it true that you have to have a wired xbox controller for it to work with the PC? cause i dont see how a wireless could work lol...i think i might get a wired one to play it on cause a laptop keypad is really hard...

I have a wireless adapter for my PC where I can use my 360 wireless controllers to play.

It would be nice as DLC, maybe even free DLC, and I'm sure tons of people still play Gears of War, I just got done with the Xbox 360 campaign on insane, and in total, I've completed the Gears 1 campaign both PC and Xbox at least like 10 times, but mostly on Casual just so I could enjoy the game.

If Epic revists Gears 1 I'd like them to patch the horrendous glitches first. Getting stuck on cover, crab walking, back flip, etc.

Same here except on Insane. I actually went out and got a new graphics card just to play this. When the settings are maxed I think the graphics are nicer than Gears 2. That's just me, though. The level is nice but it's nothing thaat special. If you can buy one on eBay cheap you can skip right to the level. It's available right from the get go.

Yeah, it was nothing special really. Brumak battle was pretty intense, but overall not so awesome chapter.
